In September 2006, Divi Resorts shut down their Hotel, the Divi Tiara Beach Resort, after a decade of chronic neglect & decline from cash extraction and poor marketing.  The 'Club Tiara' timeshare units suspended operations in Sept 2008, which was initially blamed on very minor damage from Hurricane Gustof (no, it wasn't the world economy).  Thus ended our 19 years as a Divi customer, but not our love of the Brac:  April 2011 marked our 23rd (and 4th non-Divi) "Brac Attack". 

Back in Sept/Oct 2006, we took the opportunity to document some of the hand painted signs that many of the Tiara's customers had left at the Resort before time and weather slowing worked on them.  These 200+ photos help document the good times that those customers had on The Brac.

Ironically, you'll find no sign from us here:  we've still yet to actually paint a sign!
